Hospitals and commercial buildings in Kerala are increasingly facing fire safety challenges due to high electrical load, continuous equipment operation, use of oxygen and medical gases, storage of flammable materials, and overcrowded premises. Recent fire incidents reported in healthcare facilities across the state have highlighted the urgent need for stronger preventive systems, safety awareness, and emergency preparedness at all levels.
This one-day awareness training programme on “Fire Safety in Hospitals & Commercial Buildings” is designed for senior-level officers, administrators, facility managers, and engineering heads to understand the key causes of fire accidents and practical preventive measures. The programme will focus on fire risk identification, electrical safety, safe handling of medical gases, fire protection systems, evacuation planning, and compliance with statutory fire safety requirements.
