Training Programme on Power Quality Management: Issues, Impact & Solutions

Date : 12/11/2026 (ONE-day Program) Time : 09.30 am - 4.30 pm

Venue : Productivity House, Kalamassery

Introduction

INTRODUCTION

Power quality is now a decisive factor in industrial performance. Voltage sags, swells, harmonics and transients often go unnoticed, yet they erode productivity, shorten equipment life and raise operating costs through losses, downtime and rejected production.

This programme on “Power Quality Management: Issues, Impact & Solutions” explains how power quality problems arise, how they affect electrical system reliability and energy efficiency, and how to correct them. Through lectures, demonstrations, practical exercises and real-world case studies, participants learn to identify root causes, assess cost impact and apply solutions such as harmonic mitigation and reactive power compensation.

By the end, participants will be better equipped to improve system reliability, reduce downtime, raise productivity and lower energy and operating costs, ensuring a reliable, high-quality power supply that supports both economic and environmental sustainability.
